At Point England on the second week of term 4 2011 room15 made comet's.


We made comet's with ice cream and a lot of broken  biscuits.

When Mr marks scoped my ice cream out of the box on to my cone I felt hungry.

After he scooped my ice cream onto my cone I dunked my comet in the  broken biscuits.

It was so cool making comet's. I wander if we are doing it again one day?

StarDome

 

Earlier this week we went to Stardome for a filed trip. While we were there we decided to go for a walk up One Tree Hill.

Miss King and a lot more helpers came to help at Stardome. While we were going for a walk up One Tree Hill Mr Marks decided that we should go down into the crater. I went tumbling down the hill and I got bumps and bruises, but it was cool.

happy birthday

On Wednesday it was my sisters 6th birth day i did not go because i had to go to school but my mum sent a picture of her blowing her candles out.

Spectacular New Zealand

The Rugby World Cup is bringing lots of tourists to New Zealand, but there is more here than just a cup!

The first people in New Zealand were the Maori people. It is interesting to learn about the many different people in our multi-cultural country.

The animals in New Zealand are kiwi, weta and a lot more. A kiwi has a long beck and it is short .

Badminton

For a few weeks we have played badminton. We used rackets and a shuttle to play. First we had to do under hand,over hand or forehand and a lot more. All I could do was hold my racket steady then hit.

We had to listen to otherwise we could NOT play. It was very cool, I had fun.

Cross Country

At cross country I was in Te Arawa.I was huffing and puffing up the hills.I saw a lot of refletion in the rivers.

At the end I felt exhausted. At the finish line I saw a lot of people cheering.

Taamai goes swimming
