First Editing

It was a horrible day as we moved in to our new home. But it wasn’t new at all it was old and dark spiders crawled up the door. It was like we were moving it to a dark hole where there  halloween decorations everywhere. I wasn’t even brave enough to check the place out.

My mum and dad showed me my room I was surprised because there was already a bed in it. as I was getting settled I heard a whisper coming from underneath my bed saying “Welcome to my home” in a smooth voice. I was eager to look underneath so I did but no one was there.

I rushed downstairs to tell my parents but as I ran past the room opposite from mine I heard another whisper coming from behind a draw. Looking behind it still nothing was there. I thought I was just imagining it. It kept whispering my name “Sofi Sofi” again and again.

But as the sun rose up the whispers slowly went away. My eyes were red from staying up so late. But I finally I fell asleep in peace. The next morning whispers weren't there so I was so happy. My parents looked at me and said “you look like you sow a ghost” I just looked at them and smiled.

It was like we were moving it to a dark hole, more like a set for a scary movie than a welcoming home. I wasn’t even brave enough to check the place out. “Come on Sofi its not that bad” mum said encouragingly.

Reluctantly I followed my mum and dad inside as they showed me my room. I was surprised because there was already a bed in it “Here you go sweetie we'll leave you to it” mum had said smiling. As I was getting settled I heard a whisper coming from underneath my bed saying “Welcome to my home” in a smooth voice. I cautiously looked underneath my bed but there was nothing to be seen.

I rushed downstairs to tell my parents but as I ran past the room opposite from mine I heard another whisper coming from behind a draw. Looking behind it still nothing was there. I thought I was just imagining it. It kept whispering my name “Sofi Sofi” again and again.

As the sun went down I tried to sleep but  the whispering kept me up. Hours and hours past and suddenly it was quite as the sun rose up the whispers slowly went away. My parents looked at me and said “you look like you sow a ghost” I just looked at them and smiled.

Athletics Day

On friday Pt England School had a whole day of Athletics. It wasn’t until we all dressed up in our house colours when we all were ready to start a whole day of Athletics. But before we knew it we were at our first activity.

Soft Ball Throw

Soft Ball Throws was our first activity we had. Throwing the ball was pretty easy for some of us. Coming first, second and third was Mele, Porsha and Jorja. They were very good at it too.   

Next activity

Our next activity was a game called Hop, Skip and Jump. It was a game i’m sure everybody could play. The rules of the game were that we had to do those exactly moves to win or go the furthest.  Also for this game the people that came first, second and third was Mele, Giana and me Taamai “yay”.

My Favorite activity

“Wow” my favorite activity was....oh High Jump was it. High Jump was really fun and the most exciting activity and I hope it was your’s too. Ones the bell rang we ran back to class for home time and off we went from an exhausting Athletics Day.

First Day At School.

Second Draft

The moment I opened my eyes from a long sleep I remembered it was my first day of school. I jamped out of my bed feeling so excited to start my first day at school. I had left all my friends from Kindergarten but I knew I was going  to see them again before long when they turned five.

“Its going to fun on your first day of school” my sister said. I felt like I was going to explode from all the excitement inside of me.

I changed in to my uniform as fast as I could. Chucked on my shoes and rushed to get my bag and after breakfast my mum happily yelled out “ Are you ready for your first day of school” I replied “YES” in the most exciting way. Then off my mother and I whent. As soon as we stepped foot out of the house I grabbed my mom's hand and pulled her along the footpath.

Walking through the school gate’s I could see kids coming from everywhere as if they were a herd of animals. They all looked like little red dots. Hearing the laughter of everyone made me smile.

I played until the bell rang. When the bell did ring my mum took me to class but as I walked into class everyone stared at me like I had done something wrong. I sat down beside a five year old girl. My my new teacher was Miss Gorge she was very kind and helpful.

First Draft

On the first day of school I was determined and excited to start. I changed in to my uniform as fast as I could and rushed to get my bag and of my mother and I went. As soon as we stepped foot out of the house I grabbed my mom's hand and pulled her along the footpath. As I thought to myself “This is going to be fun”.    

Walking to school I could see kids coming from everywhere as if they were a herd of animals. They all looked like little red dots. Hearing the laughter of everyone made me smile. When the bell had rang. My mum took me to class but as I walked into class everyone stared at me like I had done something wrong.

I sat down beside a five year old girl named Gianna she was my new friend. My teacher was Miss Gorge she was very kind and helpful.        

My Holiday Highlight

During the first week of the holidays my mum and step dad took my family to the beach. It was a long ride but it was still fun and exciting it was a very hot day as well. After we had went to the beach we were off to the park to have more fun. Once we got to the park we started to get hungry so my mum made chicken sandwiches it was most delicious.

As we were about to play a game it was time to go home so we all ran into the car. As we arrived home we were too full to have dinner so we went to watch a movie in my step dads room.

That night we stayed up very late until we finished watching three movies.
My sister asked me to get her a drink so I did after a while we slowly fell asleep.
It was a very long day for all of us.

Going to the beach was my holiday highlight.
